It's taken me a while to get to this point .....
I finally figured out how to get back to the future........TBC

Its now January 2018 Better later thatn never
Its always fun to get to a cruise. Better when its just a bus ride with everyone ..here's part of the Mates. The rest thought they were better than us and were in the front of the Bus. Arranged by Jim we started at his house and picked up at the hotel and then off to the ship. Easy Peasy get on ever.
And then we went shopping. There were mates all over Creek street and the town. Judy managed to meet some new people and got really friendly with one guy.
Trains booked through your cruise line load & unload near your ship. Book through WP&YR you load down town.
Always sit on the right hand side of your car going up. If you car turns around as our train did you get a better view going down. Three trains (minimum generally) head out with return pax each day. Trains #1 and # 3 do not turn around they just unhitch the engine which takes a side track to the now front. The seats in all the cars flip over and passengers are asked (made) to exchange sides..
So as the best view is going down if you follow my advice you get the best view on all trains. I suppose there are days when there may be fewer trains but if you sit on the right hand side facing up at the bottom you are good to go.
If you take the bus up and train down sit on the right side going down. If you take the train up and the bus down. Sit on the left side going up. I assume the best views on the bus will be opposite to above instructions. But I have never taken the bus.
On the train you will be (or have been) allowed to stand outside between cars. The do have the odd open car but I didn't see any in use during this trip.
