Or Judy does it again..... Way back one day..when nothing seemed to be happening a light went on or rather another light went on and Jude decided that she needed to fix something else up for Chilliwack. Again. This time it took more than a few years and many meetings, more than a few doors knocked upon and lots and lots of hours scheming, planning and organizing. We need to recognize the great Athletes of our community....so she said. .... and of course we did. So....... On the 26th of Oct. last it came to life during the 2nd intermission at a Chilliwack Chiefs game in Prospera Center. The Chilliwack Sports Hall of Fame was born. The brand new logo is seen above. There are a few more tweaks to be done to the overall programs for the Hall, such as a web site and a video feed on the TV for the display but, they are up on Twitter and Facebook and getting the word out.

Birthday girl .. Kathleen Do they really come up here to celebrate all their Holidays ? Judy and Jane checking out the Creek at the End of Cultus Lake. I took the opportunity to slip over to Abbotsford to watch the Master's of Curling. Here is 3/4 of the Howard rink from Ontario. They won the cash. This is a made for TV event and hardly anyone was in the stands. Could have sat almost anywhere in a 7ooo seat rink. Curling was very good. ROB and his WEE fish. I wasn't there to take this but had to put it in the blog to show what some of the other Fitzy's are up too. Rob's outfit Timbro Construction took a Friday off and went out on the Fraser between the Rosedale Bridge and the mouth of the Harrison River. I think he said there were 6 boats. The result is obvious. Catch and release only.... on these monsters of our great river. The only two Halloween Trick or Treater's we got. Jane on the left and Mason on the right. I have to tell a story though about my most recent Halloween experience. The kids upstairs had to leave the house unguarded and of course there are few people that know we are actually down here so we don't get kids looking for treats. Denise took the kids and went visiting. Solution: She put a bowl of treats out on the porch and turned off the lights upstaris. When I went out to check on things around 11:00 or so the bowl was STILL there and it even had some candy left in it. I guess there is hope yet. Sure wouldn't have happened 10 yrs ago. And to put a stop to this addition another end of the street shot.... man we get spoiled when the weather is great.
