Early September found most of us at the Point once again. Joined by a few riff raff from the Tournier clan. Living here in the VAlley we kinda take this stuff for granted. But it is the bread basket of the West Coast and one of the things we do well is Potato's. This is the new way of getting them to market. Did a helping hand on the Fall Fair in Agassiz with my new MLA to be. Switching Ridings once again without moving due to Boundry adjustment. Laurie Throness had pretty good hands going for a cool rainy day in September Fitzys' from Back East.... Nice surprise again when Jennifer, Maddie and Chris stop by on their semi annual visit to the Province. They then went onto whistler for a few days before heading back to Calgary to fly home. Jennifer was the recepient of a surprize while here in BC atop a mountain. (A ring) which apparently got Gramma Fitz back in Kingston all excited and checking out a few things she had stored away a bit after their return to Ontario.... Subsequently the video of Maddie taken by Wanda makes the BITZ. first a few photo's of their visit here. Then there is Canadian Thanksgiving at the Point. Darryl Sandback snuck in for dinner. Rob was off with Cheryl into the woods with their new Trailer. Camping. Judy and her daughter Marnie in Bellingham. Then there is Mason and Judy on Halloween. I can't tell which is which. This year the Chilliwack Sports Hall of Fame entered our friend Harvey Smyl into the "Judy Fitzsimmons Builder's Category". Chris's Coach when in Williams Lake, Harvey joined the Chief Organization here in Chilliwack the year after the Williams Lake Club won the RMJHL. He did 20 + yrs coaching the club and sent many players on to bigger and better things . Won a few cudo's and Championships on the way also. A few tears were shed. Jude would have loved it. This was found at the Point in the Parking lot near the Imp and the Bank. Hokey Jumpin'. Grampa Fitz would have gone nutz over this sucker.
