Judy and I ran away from the valley and the rain and even there a warmish January and a warm winter overall. We spent 4 days at the cabin and I was coaxed into doing a few things that I had not done for about 35 years. Yes that's right. That long ago. The last time I played crib was on top of 9 Mile Mountain in the dead of winter with my old buddy Tubby. We used to snowmobile up and get the shack warmed up while we played around the mountain tiop and then play a few hands of crib.
Judy said we should give it a try and after a shaky start it all came back and I won the rubber match 3-2 over the time we were there.
The other thing was get down onto the Shore at Lily Point. Over the years the cliff trail at the end of APA has been a stop on our travels around the Point but it was many years since I had gone down and most of all back up .lol
That was done also.
Here's a few shots of the dreary but no rain day at Point Bob. The trail to the beach now is a fairly wide solid path. It has solid footing almost all the way with actual steps built into the snaking hillside cut at the steep part. If I can do it just about anyone can do it.😇
